Three Mermaids House is located in a quiet residential street in the pedestrian zone at the Southern end of Piran old town, 150m to the waterfront at Piran Marina. From here is is a couple of minutes walk further to the centre of Piran - Tartini Square and in the other direction to Fornace beach or a range of other swimming points on the old town walls. A wide range of restaurants, bars and shops can also be found in easy walking distance of Three Mermaids House.
Piran is undoubtedly one of Slovenia's premier attractions & its most beautiful coastal town - a beautiful medieval Venetian town on a peninsula jutting out into the Adriatic, packed with historic buildings, charming squares, great places to eat and drink & a wide range of places to enjoy the warm Adriatic waters. The town focuses around Tartini Square which is overlooked by the iconic St George's Cathedral. A few kms from Piran are the bustling family resorts of Portoroz & the charming seaside town of Izola which offer a wide range of things to do. Inland lies picturesque wine growing country (mainly growing a delicious red grape variety unique to Slovenia - Refosk) & attractions such as world famous caves at Postojna, golf & the historic Lippizaner stud at Lipica. Slovenia's charming capital Ljubljana is just 90 minutes drive and day trips into Trieste & Venice in Italy or Croatia's beautiful Istrian coast are easily possible. A fantastic place to be based for a family or romantic break on the Adriatic.

The nearest parking is 900m from 3 Mermaids at the main Fornace public paid parking area at the entry to Piran. From Fornace run free shuttle buses to Piran Marina from where it is a couple of minutes walk to the house.

Entering Three Mermaids house from street level an entry hall leads to the master bedroom with ensuite shower room, the second bathroom and stairs up to the main living space where the second bedroom is located, large open plan living room / dining room and a separate kitchen with access out to the lovely walled garden. The garden offers a fantastic space and well shaded space for BBQing and eating al fresco eating. Or just relaxing on the lawn chairs after a hard day on the beach.
