Elipa House is in a wonderful secluded position with no immediate neighbours on the edge of a small area of holiday chalets in Apno village circa 700m above sea level with superb open 180 degree views of the Ljubljana valley and the Skofja Loka mountains. The house is in very easy reach (10 minutes drive down to gondola or 10 minutes up to upper car park) of great skiing at Krvavec which is arguably Slovenia’s best all round ski area with a good range of skiing for all abilities, decent lift infrastructure and a long season thanks to artificial snow making and reasonably high altitude (1971m). The area also offers a wide range of outdoor activities in Summer including paragliding, mountain biking and great mountain walking (Krvavec is crisscrossed with many different mountain trails to suit all abilities. It is also a start point for treks to the top of Grintovec, the highest mountain in the Kamniske Savinjske Alps at 2558m2 and various other peaks and multi day treks). There is also a popular Summer adventure park at Krvavec with high ropes course, go-karting and lift assisted mountain biking on marked biking trails. Many walking and biking trails also lead direct from the village up and down the mountain.
From the tranquil and pristine mountain setting you would never guess that it was only 15 minutes drive to Ljubljana airport making it a fantastically accessible Slovenia chalet. The chalet is also very well positioned for exploring some of Slovenia’s most beautiful sights – Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Skofja Loka, Kamnik & Velika Planina are all within cca 30 mins drive and make fantastic day trips. Most local facilities are located in the pretty town of Cerklje 10 minutes drive from the chalet on the valley floor. Facilities include supermarket, bakery, butcher, petrol station, bank, pharmacy and a variety of excellent pizzerias and restaurants. There is also a good local restaurant with fantastic views within 5 minutes drive further up the mountain and further options at the resort of Krvavec itself at the top of the mountain.

Elipa house has been painstakingly renovated to create a charming comfortable holiday house where you will be just as happy relaxing on the terraces or garden soaking in the view as you will in exploring the local area. The house has no immediate neighbours so have a wonderful feeling of privacy, surrounded by trees, forests, pastures and wonderful views wherever you look. On the ground floor an entry area leads to the open plan living room - dining room - and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The living room has a fantastic traditional farmhouse ceramic stove which keeps the whole house warm in Winter, from the living room you can exit onto the beautiful 3 sided wooden terrace with covered outdoor dining table, outdoor seating and magnificent views over the Ljubljana basin, the Skofja Loka hills and stretching 100km South to Mount Sneznik on clear days. In the loft are 2 double bedrooms each with access to a lovely glass fenced balcony and spacious bathroom with walk in shower.
In the basement is additional bathroom with washer and dryer, social room with some kids toys and a table tennis room. The garden surrounds the house and is a great space for kids to play and explore whilst parents enjoy the terrace overlooking it.
