INTRODUCTION

Sava View Bled Apartments are beautifully decorated, comfortable, well equipped and spacious apartments in an alpine building in a tranquil and beautiful position in the village of Bodešče, just a few kilometres from world famous Lake Bled. Both apartments have wonderful balconies with views over the Sava river valley with views of Triglav mountain and the Julian Alps beyond. Bled and its many facilities and attractions are just a few minutes away by car or bus (3km) and in the other direction just a few minutes away is the charming medieval town of Radovljica. Flat 7 sleeps 2-4, Flat 8 sleeps 4-5.

LOCATION

Sava View Bled Apartments are located in an attractive alpine building in a tranquil and beautiful position in the idyllic village of Bodešče, just a few kilometres from world famous Lake Bled with stunning views of the Sava river valley as well as the Julian Alps beyond. World famous Lake Bled and its many facilities and attractions is just a few minutes away by car or bus (3km) and in the other direction just a few minutes away is the charming medieval town of Radovljica, featuring some of Slovenia’s best restaurants. The Bled area is surrounded by beautiful scenery and things to do from walks around the lovely Vintgar Gorge and various hills surrounding the lake to great mountain walking and mountain biking on the Pokljuka Plateau, kayaking canyoning and rafting on the Sava River and its tributaries, as well of course as swimming and boating on Lake Bled itself. There is some great walking and cycling from the doorstep of Sava View Apartments as well as fly fishing which is possible on the Sava River in walking distance of the house. The Bled area is a great place to be based for exploring Slovenia's many ski areas - there is a small resort in the town itself but most skiers based in Bled visit the excellent resorts of Vogel, Krvavec & Kranjska Gora which are each half an hour's drive away (or there is a ski bus from Bled to Vogel / Krvavec). Bled is in a fantastic position for exploring Slovenia’s many sights with plenty of easy day trips possible including stunning Lake Bohinj just 25 minutes away, Slovenia’s pretty capital Ljubljana and the medieval town of Skofja Loka each just 45 minutes drive away.

Apartment 7 is located on the 1st floor sleeps 2-4 and features one large double bedroom, bathroom and lovely big, bright open plan living room, kitchen, dining room. Flat 8 is located on second (top) floor, sleeps 4-5 and has two double bedrooms, small additional single bedroom with pull out bed, large bathroom, spacious open plan living room, kitchen & dining room. Both apartments have wonderful balconies with views over the Sava river valley with views of Triglav mountain and the Julian Alps beyond. Both apartments have flatscreen TV, Cable TV & internet. Flat 8 also features DVD player and Playstation system.
