Koritnica Apartments - Bovec are located in a quiet spot in the charming alpine village of Kal Koritnica just 3km (cca 5 minutes drive) from Bovec and a few minutes’ from the stunning Soca River, considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia. The village offers an authentic and tranquil environment with an excellent restuarant in walking distance, lovely views of surrounding mountains and any number of walks on your doorstep (including most notably Svinjak Mountain (the "Bovec Matterhorn") and Celo 1st World War fort). The Soca river offers the opportunity for fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, or just relaxing on the banks.
The surrounding mountains are in general fantastic for walking; they also offer scope for great mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding as well as skiing. The ski resort Kanin on the Italian border is one of Slovenia’s best with good lift infrastructure and snow record. A second ski area Sella Nevea (Italy) adjoins Kanin and offers good beginner - intermediate level skiing; the one ski pass covers both sides of the mountain. It is a 10 minute drive from the house to the Gondola, which is also open in the Summer giving easy access to breathtaking high altitude walking and mountain biking. There is a wonderful lake just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.

Koritnica Apartments, Kal Koritnica, Bovec offer a very high standard of quality and comfort. In the basement is a storage area for both apartments which can be used for bikes / skis / kayaks etc. On the first floor is Apartment Dolina (or Valley Apartment in English) which offers one large double bedroom, comfortable living room with double sofabed, separate kitchen / diner with handmade kitchen elements and spacious bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the floor above is Apartment Gora (or Mountain Apartment in English). This apartment offers a shower room and separate toilet as you enter the apartment and the corridor then opens up to reveal a spectacular high-ceilinged open plan living area with high specification kitchen, lovely solid wood table and chairs, balcony with mountain views and cosy sitting area. In one corner is a four poster bed which can be separated from the rest of the space with curtains and a ladder - staircase (NB not suitable for young children) up to an under-eaves sleeping area with twin beds (NB limited head space in this room). Outside the house is a parking area for two cars and 20 m from the house is a private garden area with outside table and chairs.
Apartment Gora has a capacity of 5 people while Apartment Dolina sleeps 4.
