Located just above where the Sava Dolinka and Sava Bohinjka join to become the Sava River, stands the enchanting medieval town of Radovljica; and along with it, numerous preserved monuments of civil engineering. The most important of these being the Church of St. Peter, the Manor housing the Apicultural Museum, Šivec house and the defense shaft. Said to have the most number of sunny days in the Gorenska region it is also the birthplace of the father of Slovenain theatre, Anton Linhart.
