Rinka Waterfall

As the second highest waterfall in Slovenia and one of its most beautiful, Rinka Waterfall drops some 105 m from a small river above into a pool below. One of 20 waterfalls in the Logar Valley it is the souce of the Savinja River.

Visited all year round, it is popular with ice climbers in winter. A cafe clinging to a rocky crag just next to the waterfall provides the best view of the cascading water. From a parking lot at the end of the road it is about a 10 minute walk along a well maintained, slightly uphill path. It is said to be the most impressive individual attraction in the Logar Valley, if not the entire region and one not to be missed.
