The turquoise water, numerous pebble beaches and carved out pools make the Nadiža River a popular place for fly-fishermen and bathers alike. It is one of the cleanest and warmest Alpine rivers and is, according to folklore possessed with healing properites.

Originating from under the massive Stol Mountain, it's popularity has meant the implementation of parking restrictions during the summer months.
