Počitniška hiša Mostnica stoji na mirni in idilični lokaciji. Hiša je precej na samem, kar daje izjemen občutek zasebnosti, zlasti na vrtu za hišo. Na eni strani se razprostirajo lepi razgledi na okoliške gore in gozdove, na drugi strani pa pogled na reko Mostnico. Naselje Stara Fužina se nahaja na obrobju Bohinjskega jezera (1,3 km stran od jezera - 2 minuti z avtom ali približno 10 minut hoje) in je ena izmed najbolj privlačnih in priljubljenih vasi v Bohinjski dolini ter začetna točka za vzpon na številne vrhove Julijskih Alp, vključno s Triglavom.
Glavna atrakcija tega območja je seveda Bohinjsko jezero; mirno jezero obkroženo z visokimi vrhovi in nedotaknjenimi gozdovi, ki ga mnogi štejejo kot najlepši del Slovenije. Poleti je na jezeru obilo možnosti za poletne športe, kot so kajak, jadranje, plavanje, ribolov, hoja ali tek okoli jezera.
Spodnja gondola ki vodi na smučišče Vogel je le 5-10 minut vožnje od počitniške hiše Mostnica. Gondola vozi tudi v poletnih mesecih. Bohinjska Bistrica je le 5 minut vožnje stran, kjer se nahaja sodoben vodni park. Različna smučišča v Sloveniji / Avstriji / Italiji so precej enostavno dostopna. Blejsko jezero je oddaljeno 20 minut vožnje. V zimskem času vozi avtobus do smučišča Vogel.

Počitniška hiša Mostnica je bila popolnoma prenovljena in opremljena leta 2017. Izjemno udobna in dobro opremljena počitniška hiša s petimi spalnicami ponuja odlično nastanitev v lepi vasici Stara Fužina pri Bohinjskem jezeru. Parkirni prostor na sprednji strani hiše je dovolj velik za 3 avtomobile.
Glavni vhod v hišo je z vrta. V pritličju se nahaja čudovit odprt dnevni prostor z velikim kavčem, televizijo in kaminom. Na drugi strani kamina je jedilnica z veliko hrastovo mizo za 12 oseb, izhod na balkon ter kuhinjska niša, ki je zelo dobro opremljena in ima pomivalni stroj, mikrovalovno pečico, pečico, štedilnik, toaster in grelnik za vodo. V istem nadstropju je tudi kopalnica s tuš kabino.
V prvem nadstropju so tri zakonske spalnice, dve na sprednji strani hiše z dostopom na balkon ter ena na zadnji strani hiše. Na zadnji strani hiše se nahaja dodaten balkon s pogledom na vrt in kopalnica s tuš kabino. V pritličju pa boste našli še eno zakonsko spalnico, sobo z umivalnikom, pralnim strojem in sušilcem, kopalnico s tušem ter sobo s televizijo in dvema raztegljivima posteljama, ki omogočata dodaten spalni prostor za še 4 osebe. Brezžični Wifi internet in mednarodni televizijski kanali pa dajo piko na i tej fantastični počitniški hiši v Bohinju.

Počitniška hiša Mostnica Cottage je zanimiva počitniška namestitev na čudoviti lokaciji ob reki v očarljivi vasici Stara Fužina, le nekaj kilometrov od Bohinjskega jezera, 10 min vožnje do gondole Vogel in v neposredni bližini trgovin in restavracij. Ta prostorna in svetla počitniška hiša, ki je bila v letu 2017 popolnoma prenovljena, ima 5 spalnic, 3 kopalnice, 2 dnevni sobi (ena s kaminom), 3 balkone, zasebni vrt s pokrito zunanjo mizo ter čudovit pogled na gore in reko. V okolici so fantastične sprehajalne poti, med katerimi je tudi pot do jezera in pot po soteski reke Mostnice. Območje Bohinjskega jezera pa poleg neokrnjene narave ponuja še veliko rečnih, jezerskih in gorskih aktivnosti.

The nearby Mihovc restaurant is a real gem (especially the mushroom and fish dishes). Bled is half an hour away by car, where we spent a full day hiking and eating. It was nice to come back to the little (big) house. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is so well positioned. It's quiet but has bars, shops and a restaurant within an easy walk. The lake is a 15 min walk so again, relatively easy to get to.We were 4 couples and the Cottage suited us perfectly. We had our own space but also plenty of room for communal dinners and down time. The kitchen is very well appointed and the whole cottage is in very good condition.

Nahaja se na odlični lokaciji v vasi Polje, le nekaj minut vožnje od Bohinjskega jezera in nudi odlično izhodišče za aktivno ali sproščeno preživljanje prostega časa ob vodi ali gorah. Na zadnji strani hiše se nahaja čudovita terasa z vrtom, ki ju obdajata manjši potok in gozd, iz druge strani pa se vam odpre čudovit pogled na Triglav.
