Dandelion house leži v vasi Podjelje, ob vznožju pokljuške planote na okoli 1000 metrov nadmorske višine z Bohinjskim jezerom na eni strani (20 minut vožnje) ter planote Pokljuka na drugi (10 minut vožnje). Ker ima lepo, mirno lokacijo s čudovitim odprtim razgledom na naravo, je odlična za sprostitev v čudoviti alpski okolici ali pa za aktivne počitnice dostopne s praga hiše, med drugim pohodništvo, gorsko kolesarjenje ter raziskovanje Triglavskega narodnega parka.
Bohinjsko jezero ponuja številne športne aktivnosti, kot so kayaking, jadranje in veslanje, muharjenje, plavanje ali samo sproščanje ob obali jezera. Bohinjske gore so odlične za planinarjenje in tu je eno izmed najboljših izhodišč za vzpon na Triglav. Prav tako je tu možnost gorskega kolesarjenja, canjoninga, skakanja s padalom in smučanja pozimi.
Do spodnje postaje gondole poznanega smučišča Vogel je samo 25 minut vožnje, ki obratuje tudi poleti in s tem omogoča lažji dostop do planinarjenja po visokogorju in gorskega kolesarjenja. Hiša, prenovljena leta 2016, je obdržala šarm prvotne zgradbe in jo združila z udobjem in privlačnim pohištvom ter sodobno opremo. V pritličju so predsoba s stopniščem, kopalnica s kadjo in tušem ter ločeno stranišče, kuhinja in dnevna soba. Kuhinja je prostorna in odprtega tipa skupaj v istem prostoru z dnevno sobo. Je dobro opremljena z visokokakovostnimi aparati, vključno s pomivalnim strojem. Vrata iz kuhinje vodijo v shrambo / utility ter vhod zadaj. Središče dnevne sobe je ročno narejena kmečka peč, okrog katere je po meri izdelana klop. V zgornjem nadstropju je podest s prostorom za počitek, 4 spalnice s tramovi - 1 spalnica z dvema posteljama, 2 spalnici z zakonsko posteljo in dvema posteljama na podestu. Dandelion House je prostorna, prenovljena alpska hiša s 4 spalnicami, kjer lahko prespi do 8 oseb. Leži na odlični lokaciji z odprtim razgledom na bohinjsko dolino. Hiša se nahaja v vasi Podjelje, ob vznožju pokljuške planote in znotraj Triglavskega narodnega parka ter samo 20 minut vožnje stran od Bohinjskega jezera, smučišča Vogel in številnih drugih rečnih, jezerskih in gorskih aktivnosti. Blejsko jezero je samo 25 min vožnje stran v drugo smer, planota Pokljuka s svojo tekaško progo ter mnogo kolesarskimi in pohodniškimi potmi pa samo 10 minut. Vas Podjelje je razpršeno naselje, obkroženo z naravo, ki se lahko pohvali z lepimi razgledi na gorsko pokrajino. Dandelion House je bila premišljeno prenovljena v udobno, privlačno in sodobno opremljeno počitniško hišo s kaminom, mizo za namizni tenis, TV in internetom ter zunanjim prostorom za sedenje ter vrtom. Hiša je odlična izhodna točka za sprostitev v lepem alpskem okolišu ali za raziskovanje okolice Blejskega in Bohinjskega jezera.

We had a lovely stay at the Dandelion House. Everything starting with the communication with Dan, the house, its amenities and location was great. The house is situated on top of a hill and has a wonderful view of the surrounding hills. It is a winding road to the top, at times steep and somewhat narrow but the view from the top is definitely worth it! The house was clean, well stocked and is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. The house is also perfectly situated between Bled and Bohinj and therefore is a perfect place to spend a few days to see and do things in the area. The closest supermarket, gas station and cafe are all in the town at the bottom of the hill. All in all we had a great time in Podjelje and hope to return soon!

Property is excellent. Hidden half way up a mountain in a small firendly village, we had a great time. Whether swimming in the nearby Lake Bohinj, hiking the gorges and mountain paths, or enjoying a drink on the private deck while taking in the view, there is something for everyone here.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Ausreichend Platz, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir werden es gerne weiterempfehlen. Eine schöne Überraschung war der "Aufenthaltsraum" (eine alte Scheune) mit traumhafter Aussicht. Hier konnten wir selbst bei Regen quasi draußen sitzen.

The kitchen was much better equipped than we expected and we loved being within easy reach of both lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. Car hire is essential here and the chalet is towards the top of quite a steep road, but this didn't take too much getting used to and there wasn't much traffic passing by

Een prachtig huis op een nog prachtigere locatie! Hoog in de bergen tussen Bled en Bohinj, bekend van hun prachtige meren. Vooral het meer van Bohinj is heerlijk; nog niet overspoeld door toeristen en enorm overweldigend door de gigantische bergwanden eromheen. Heerlijk water met tal van strandjes (denk aan waterschoenen ivm de stenen) en omgeven door natuur ipv hotels en campings (zoals Bled). Ook de kabelbaan naar de hoge alm van Vogel (prachtig om te wandelen of met kinderen te doen) en de kloof van Mostnica zijn dichtbij. Deze kloof is minder toeristisch dan Vintgar maar prachtig! Vooral het eerste deel is leuk voor kinderen vanwege de rotsblokken om te klauteren. Kortom, het huis ligt perfect voor uitstapjes in de omgeving (je moet wel niet bang zijn om de 5km lange bergweg op en af te rijden met de auto;-) en heeft een ruime indeling. Groot genoeg voor 10 personen als er kinderen bij zijn. Als je alleen met volwassenen bent misschien wat krap. Dan max 8 ivm het kleine 2p bed in de vide slaapkamer. Prachtige buitenruimtes: zowel een open als een overdekt terras. Hiervoor moet je wel de, niet al te drukke, straat oversteken. Maar voor ons was dit geen probleem, ook niet met onze 3-jarige. Kortom: een aanrader voor iedereen die van de rust en schoonheid van de prachtige Sloveense natuur wil genieten!

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in (out of about a dozen.) Dandelion House is a beautiful and spacious chalet, perfect for our party of two couples and four children, aged between 8 and 13. The kitchen is large and well equipped, the bedrooms, airy and quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. The chalet is in a secluded location on the side of a hill in Podjelje with great mountain views on all sides. It’s only a 25-min drive to Lake Bled and 15-min to Lake Bohinj. Highly recommend for a hiking holiday.

We really enjoyed the long weekend we spent in the Dandelion House. The house is situated in a spectacular location, and the views from every window are beautiful. The house is well-equipped, with ample towels, blankets, kitchen items, and even games. The outdoor space is also lovely, and we enjoyed dinners outside on the deck every night. Lakes Bohinj and Bled are 15-20 minutes away in different directions, so you can easily access both areas and all of their sites. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back there again for another pleasant stay!

Dandelion House is spectacular, inside and out. Beautiful Alpine views greet you every morning; the house is charming and accommodated us and our friends perfectly. While we had a few hiccups during our stay, the Think Slovenia team responded quickly and graciously the addressed the issues as best they could. That's the mark of good business.
Unfortunately we had no possibility to with Dan as we arrived late, but our house was incredible, view amazing, facilities were perfect! Place looks exactly tha same like on pictures. If you want to take some rest in mountains this is the best place to be. Thank you very much for everything, Dan ;)
The house is great, absolutely beautiful and has an amazing view as well. Everything was very nicely prepared and clean. The location is a bit remote, but that is just what we wanted and expected. No problem getting there by car, the instructions were clear. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a bit of a quieter place in the nature. This is also a very good starting place if you want to explore the Triglav National Park - the Savica waterfall, Bohinj Lake and all of the mountains, amazing places to see!

While we had a few hiccups during our stay, the Think Slovenia team responded quickly and graciously the addressed the issues as best they could. That's the mark of good business.
Unfortunately we had no possibility to with Dan as we arrived late, but our house was incredible, view amazing, facilities were perfect! Place looks exactly tha same like on pictures. If you want to take some rest in mountains this is the best place to be. Thank you very much for everything, Dan ;)
The house is great, absolutely beautiful and has an amazing view as well. Everything was very nicely prepared and clean. The location is a bit remote, but that is just what we wanted and expected. No problem getting there by car, the instructions were clear. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a bit of a quieter place in the nature. This is also a very good starting place if you want to explore the Triglav National Park - the Savica waterfall, Bohinj Lake and all of the mountains, amazing places to see!
The accommodation was fantastic! Everything was perfectly clean and tidy when we arrived. The location is amazing, peaceful and far from everything, the perfect place to relax. The layout of the house is also great; we stayed there with 6 adults and 3 kids. We might come back again in the future!

We had a lovely stay at the Dandelion House. Everything starting with the communication with Dan, the house, its amenities and location was great. The house is situated on top of a hill and has a wonderful view of the surrounding hills. It is a winding road to the top, at times steep and somewhat narrow but the view from the top is definitely worth it! The house was clean, well stocked and is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. The house is also perfectly situated between Bled and Bohinj and therefore is a perfect place to spend a few days to see and do things in the area. The closest supermarket, gas station and cafe are all in the town at the bottom of the hill. All in all we had a great time in Podjelje and hope to return soon!

Dandelion house is off the beaten path but well worth the extra effort to get there. The views are spectacular. And the star gazing wonderful. We appreciated the high mountain meadows with spring wildflowers. We would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the nature of Slovenia.

Property is excellent. Hidden half way up a mountain in a small firendly village, we had a great time. Whether swimming in the nearby Lake Bohinj, hiking the gorges and mountain paths, or enjoying a drink on the private deck while taking in the view, there is something for everyone here.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Ausreichend Platz, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir werden es gerne weiterempfehlen. Eine schöne Überraschung war der "Aufenthaltsraum" (eine alte Scheune) mit traumhafter Aussicht. Hier konnten wir selbst bei Regen quasi draußen sitzen.

We loved our stay- we are a party of 9 adults and had a huge amount of space, both indoors and outside. The kitchen was much better equipped than we expected and we loved being within easy reach of both lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. Car hire is essential here and the chalet is towards the top of quite a steep road, but this didn't take too much getting used to and there wasn't much traffic passing by

Een prachtig huis op een nog prachtigere locatie! Hoog in de bergen tussen Bled en Bohinj, bekend van hun prachtige meren. Vooral het meer van Bohinj is heerlijk; nog niet overspoeld door toeristen en enorm overweldigend door de gigantische bergwanden eromheen. Heerlijk water met tal van strandjes (denk aan waterschoenen ivm de stenen) en omgeven door natuur ipv hotels en campings (zoals Bled). Ook de kabelbaan naar de hoge alm van Vogel (prachtig om te wandelen of met kinderen te doen) en de kloof van Mostnica zijn dichtbij. Deze kloof is minder toeristisch dan Vintgar maar prachtig! Vooral het eerste deel is leuk voor kinderen vanwege de rotsblokken om te klauteren. Kortom, het huis ligt perfect voor uitstapjes in de omgeving (je moet wel niet bang zijn om de 5km lange bergweg op en af te rijden met de auto;-) en heeft een ruime indeling. Groot genoeg voor 10 personen als er kinderen bij zijn. Als je alleen met volwassenen bent misschien wat krap. Dan max 8 ivm het kleine 2p bed in de vide slaapkamer. Prachtige buitenruimtes: zowel een open als een overdekt terras. Hiervoor moet je wel de, niet al te drukke, straat oversteken. Maar voor ons was dit geen probleem, ook niet met onze 3-jarige. Kortom: een aanrader voor iedereen die van de rust en schoonheid van de prachtige Sloveense natuur wil genieten!

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in (out of about a dozen.) Dandelion House is a beautiful and spacious chalet, perfect for our party of two couples and four children, aged between 8 and 13. The kitchen is large and well equipped, the bedrooms, airy and quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. The chalet is in a secluded location on the side of a hill in Podjelje with great mountain views on all sides. It’s only a 25-min drive to Lake Bled and 15-min to Lake Bohinj. Highly recommend for a hiking holiday.

We really enjoyed the long weekend we spent in the Dandelion House. The house is situated in a spectacular location, and the views from every window are beautiful. The house is well-equipped, with ample towels, blankets, kitchen items, and even games. The outdoor space is also lovely, and we enjoyed dinners outside on the deck every night. Lakes Bohinj and Bled are 15-20 minutes away in different directions, so you can easily access both areas and all of their sites. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back there again for another pleasant stay!
