Iz apartmajev Ela, ki se nahajata na vrhu vasi, se odpirajo neponovljivi gorski razgledi na Karavanke, Julijske Alpe ter panoramski pogledi na Zgornjesavsko dolino. Vas Dovje, ki se nahaja v osrčju Gorenjske, se ponaša s pristnimi alpskimi hišami. Slovenski planinski muzej se nahaja Mojstrani, ki je od Dovja oddaljena le nekaj minut hoje. Za vasjo se razprostirajo tri občudovanja vredne alpske doline; Vrata, Kot in Krma. Te predstavljajo izhodišče za pohodništvo v Julijskih Alpah in vzpon na Triglav.
V poletnem času so med najbolj priljubljenimi pohodništvo, ribolov na Savi Dolinki, ter kolesarska steza ki vodi mimo Kranjske Gore vse do Italije. Jezero Jasna, ki se nahaja le par minut hoje stran od Kranjske Gore, je prečudovito mesto za kopanje in sončenje s pogledom na lepo gorsko pokrajino. V zimskem času pa se radi odpravimo na smučanje, na manjše smučišče v Mojstrani ali pa v Kranjsko Goro. Ponujajo se še možnosti za tek na smučeh, vožnja z vprego s huskiji, ledeno plezanje, prosto smučanje in še in še.

The surroundings are gorgeous. The apartment is excellent. One issue: When we arrived, Google maps took us through the the first entrace to Dovje, coming from Zagreb. However, the landmarks provided in the property description appear when you enter through the second entrance on the right, where if you turn left, you get to Mostrajna. We spent some time lost in Dovje, as a result, and as we finally got on the right track, we met our hosts, who in their goodness, got out of bed late at night to look for us. The streets in Dovje are very narrow, which provides much charm to the town, but also means that someone has to back out, when two cars converge. All in all, we are grateful to our hosts for their hospitality.

I stayed at the Ela Apartments for 3 nights. Dan and his family were wonderful hosts. It's a great location for hiking in Triglav National Park and visiting Bled and Lake Bohinj, and the view of the Alps from the back yard is amazing!

Apartment ELA 2 habe ich nicht besuchen können, da diesen aus technischen Problemen leider nicht bewohnbar war. Der Gastgeber war aber sehr zuvorkommen und hat uns in die ELA 1 Wohnung einquartiert ohne extra Kosten für uns. Der Host war sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung war sauber, groß, komplett ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Der Aufenthalt im dem Apartment war zu unseren vollsten Zufriedenheit. Gerne wieder.

Great location, everything available. Nice hosts! For a family of four rather small. Eating outside is possible, only next to your car or in the nice garden. Though the garden is rather far from your kitchen and the only table is shared with all the other guests. The garden does give you beautiful views! In the region hiking, cycling etc. is fantastic!

Mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern haben wir eine Woche im Apartment ELA 2 verbracht. Es war zwar etwas beengt, da wir aber tagsüber stets unterwegs waren, hatten wir damit keine Probleme. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so fürs Leben braucht. Und wenn doch mal etwas fehlt, hilft die Gastgeberein, wo sie kann. Von unserer Seite aus: Daumen hoch!

We had a lovely time in Dovje. The weather was bad but Ela leant us an umbrella! The apartment was cosy and clean. We had everything we needed to cook but there was also a pizza place down the road. We arrived on a Sunday so it was a bit tricky to get there but we managed to get a reasonably priced taxi from Ljubliana airport. When the sun came out we had a relaxing walk to a waterfall along the river and there were busses to Bled and Ljubliana too. Thank you Ela!
We loved the apartment. It's a compact, clean with one bedroom plus a sofa that can be opened and used as a second bed. Convenient for families with a small child. Car can be parked in front of the apartment. Recommended.

Ela's apartment is a little jewel. It's tricky to find if you are not used to the Slovene way of organizing villages and is up a rather narrow, steep road. The hosts are incredibly helpful and kind and really go the extra mile. They will give you any local information you need. The space is small for a family of 4 but manageable.

Apartmán se nachází na konci malé obce a je vhodným místem pro výlety od Bledského jezera po italské Tarvisio. Může být i výchozím místem pro výstup na Triglav. Apartmán je relativně malý, ale disponuje vším potřebným, včetně dostatku úložných prostor. (Pro dva dospělé a dvě děti na týdenní dovolenou zcela dostačující). Z apartmánu není přímo výhled na Julské alpy, je potřeba obejít dům. Výhled na panoráma hor je fascinující. Ocenění ale zaslouží zejména vstřícný a přátelský přístup paní Ely a její rodiny.
In The Heart of the Julian Alps!
Located at the end of a residential road in the village of Dovje, this well-furnished one-bedroom apartment has a mountain landscape directly behind. Dovje is just opposite the larger village of Mojstrana (nearest grocery store) below Mount Triglav and is a good base for exploring the popular resort of Kranjska Gora, scenic Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. The charming owners live seasonally in the adjoining building and were on hand to greet us upon arrival with a shot of local liqueur and a plate of freshly-baked homemade cookies. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, includes parking and Wi-Fi, with a small shower...the only downside were the very small towels in the bathroom.

The apartment is how described, not big but adequate for four people. The wifi is very good and fast, the heating works well. The host is always available if you have any questions and even came one evening to give us some drinks. The surrounding area is very beautiful, the nature is stunning and the nearby village offers everything you might need (restaurant, supermarket, Museum etc.) Over all I would recommend the apartment to people looking for a nice and cheap place to stay. Although small, Apartment Ela is in a wonderful situation, quiet but within easy travel of lots of interesting places. The owners are very friendly, and always willing to help.The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, and both Italy and Austria are just a short drive away. You really need a car for this area, but the roads are generally good, and traffic is very light. you can even visit the coastal area - Piran is wonderful.
El apartamento de Ela está situado en un lugar estupendo para pasar unos días cerca del Parque Nacional del Triglav. Hay unas vistas fantásticas desde la casa de las montañas, y el lugar transmite mucha paz. Ela y su marido nos estaban esperando para darnos la bienvenida y enseñarnos el apartamento. La comunicación desde el principio fue perfecta. También nos proporcionaron información sobre el Parque Nacional del Triglav y un día que llovía mucho nos obsequiaron con unos dulces deliciosos. El piso es pequeñito pero es muy coqueto, confortable, cálido y estaba impecablemente limpio. Nos sentimos muy agusto. Sin duda repetiríamos. Muchas gracias por todo Ela!
We had a lovely stay at Apartment Ela, which is situated right at the top of Dovje village and has wonderful views from the garden terrace across to the Triglav range of mountains. The apartment was small but had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are lovely, bringing us freshly baked biscuits and cake on return from a busy day out. I would recommend this apartment for a couple - it would be a bit squashed with more, but we plan to return.

- Ivo and Ela were a lovely couple, very welcoming and hospitable, including various food and drink presents during the week, fresh veg from the garden, homemade goulash and biscuits
- Definitely at the top end of hosts in our experience
- Apartment was very spacious for a couple, very clean and in excellent condition
- Good kitchen facilities with plenty of equipment
- Views from the property (none from apartment itself) are spectacular
- Well located for hiking in the Julian Alps, which we did plenty of.

L'appartement était très propre et très agréable. Le gîte n'est pas grand mais très confortable, et nos 2 jeunes enfants ont très bien dormi dans le canapé-lit. Le propriétaire est charmant et le petit village de Dovje l'est également. Le gîte était un parfait pied à terre pour partir en randonnées...

Apartment ELA 2 habe ich nicht besuchen können, da diesen aus technischen Problemen leider nicht bewohnbar war. Der Gastgeber war aber sehr zuvorkommen und hat uns in die ELA 1 Wohnung einquartiert ohne extra Kosten für uns. Der Host war sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung war sauber, groß, komplett ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Der Aufenthalt im dem Apartment war zu unseren vollsten Zufriedenheit. Gerne wieder.

Great location, everything available. Nice hosts! For a family of four rather small. Eating outside is possible, only next to your car or in the nice garden. Though the garden is rather far from your kitchen and the only table is shared with all the other guests. The garden does give you beautiful views! In the region hiking, cycling etc. is fantastic!

Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so fürs Leben braucht. Und wenn doch mal etwas fehlt, hilft die Gastgeberein, wo sie kann. Von unserer Seite aus: Daumen hoch!

We had a lovely time in Dovje. The weather was bad but Ela leant us an umbrella! The apartment was cosy and clean. We had everything we needed to cook but there was also a pizza place down the road. We arrived on a Sunday so it was a bit tricky to get there but we managed to get a reasonably priced taxi from Ljubliana airport. When the sun came out we had a relaxing walk to a waterfall along the river and there were busses to Bled and Ljubliana too. Thank you Ela!
We loved the apartment. It's a compact, clean with one bedroom plus a sofa that can be opened and used as a second bed. Convenient for families with a small child. Car can be parked in front of the apartment. Recommended.

Ela's apartment is a little jewel. It's tricky to find if you are not used to the Slovene way of organizing villages and is up a rather narrow, steep road. The hosts are incredibly helpful and kind and really go the extra mile. They will give you any local information you need. The space is small for a family of 4 but manageable.

Apartmán se nachází na konci malé obce a je vhodným místem pro výlety od Bledského jezera po italské Tarvisio. Může být i výchozím místem pro výstup na Triglav. Apartmán je relativně malý, ale disponuje vším potřebným, včetně dostatku úložných prostor. (Pro dva dospělé a dvě děti na týdenní dovolenou zcela dostačující). Z apartmánu není přímo výhled na Julské alpy, je potřeba obejít dům. Výhled na panoráma hor je fascinující. Ocenění ale zaslouží zejména vstřícný a přátelský přístup paní Ely a její rodiny.

Located at the end of a residential road in the village of Dovje, this well-furnished one-bedroom apartment has a mountain landscape directly behind. Dovje is just opposite the larger village of Mojstrana (nearest grocery store) below Mount Triglav and is a good base for exploring the popular resort of Kranjska Gora, scenic Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. The charming owners live seasonally in the adjoining building and were on hand to greet us upon arrival with a shot of local liqueur and a plate of freshly-baked homemade cookies. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, includes parking and Wi-Fi, with a small shower...the only downside were the very small towels in the bathroom.

The apartment is how described, not big but adequate for four people. The wifi is very good and fast, the heating works well. The host is always available if you have any questions and even came one evening to give us some drinks. The surrounding area is very beautiful, the nature is stunning and the nearby village offers everything you might need (restaurant, supermarket, Museum etc.) Over all I would recommend the apartment to people looking for a nice and cheap place to stay. Although small, Apartment Ela is in a wonderful situation, quiet but within easy travel of lots of interesting places. The owners are very friendly, and always willing to help.The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, and both Italy and Austria are just a short drive away. You really need a car for this area, but the roads are generally good, and traffic is very light. you can even visit the coastal area - Piran is wonderful.
We had a lovely stay at Apartment Ela, which is situated right at the top of Dovje village and has wonderful views from the garden terrace across to the Triglav range of mountains. The apartment was small but had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are lovely, bringing us freshly baked biscuits and cake on return from a busy day out. I would recommend this apartment for a couple - it would be a bit squashed with more, but we plan to return.

La comunicación desde el principio fue perfecta. También nos proporcionaron información sobre el Parque Nacional del Triglav y un día que llovía mucho nos obsequiaron con unos dulces deliciosos. L'appartement était très propre et très agréable. Le gîte n'est pas grand mais très confortable, et nos 2 jeunes enfants ont très bien dormi dans le canapé-lit. Le propriétaire est charmant et le petit village de Dovje l'est également. Le gîte était un parfait pied à terre pour partir en randonnées...

There is everything you need in between hikes in the appartement. If you like a view of the mountains with your breakfast, this is perfect. Stay in Dovje for 3 nights to participate in a sporting event in Kranjska Gora and visit norther Slovenia. The listing is as described and the cleanliness was impeccable. Arrived late, I had no difficulty finding and accessing it. The environment is extremely quiet and the location is ideal, close to Kranjska Gora, Bled, National Park Triglav. I would book this property again.

The surroundings are gorgeous. The apartment is excellent. One issue: When we arrived, Google maps took us through the the first entrace to Dovje, coming from Zagreb. However, the landmarks provided in the property description appear when you enter through the second entrance on the right, where if you turn left, you get to Mostrajna. We spent some time lost in Dovje, as a result, and as we finally got on the right track, we met our hosts, who in their goodness, got out of bed late at night to look for us. The streets in Dovje are very narrow, which provides much charm to the town, but also means that someone has to back out, when two cars converge. All in all, we are grateful to our hosts for their hospitality.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vollkommen in Ordnung. Alles vor Ort was man braucht. Ideal für 2 Leute, mehr jedoch nicht. Das Bad ist äußerst klein. Man kann sich kaum um die eigene Achse drehen. Darüber hinaus lässt sich das Schlafzimmer nicht komplett abdunkeln. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, es hat alles gut geklappt.

L'appartement était très propre et très agréable. Le gîte n'est pas grand mais très confortable, et nos 2 jeunes enfants ont très bien dormi dans le canapé-lit. Le propriétaire est charmant et le petit village de Dovje l'est également. Le gîte était un parfait pied à terre pour partir en randonnées...

We were welcomed very warmly with homemade Strudel and a drink. The Hosts, a very friendly and generous slovenian family were very helpful and easy to talk to. There is everything you need in between hikes in the appartement. If you like a view of the mountains with your breakfast, this is perfect. Stay in Dovje for 3 nights to participate in a sporting event in Kranjska Gora and visit norther Slovenia. The listing is as described and the cleanliness was impeccable. Arrived late, I had no difficulty finding and accessing it. The environment is extremely quiet and the location is ideal, close to Kranjska Gora, Bled, National Park Triglav. I would book this property again.

The surroundings are gorgeous. The apartment is excellent. One issue: When we arrived, Google maps took us through the the first entrace to Dovje, coming from Zagreb. However, the landmarks provided in the property description appear when you enter through the second entrance on the right, where if you turn left, you get to Mostrajna. We spent some time lost in Dovje, as a result, and as we finally got on the right track, we met our hosts, who in their goodness, got out of bed late at night to look for us. The streets in Dovje are very narrow, which provides much charm to the town, but also means that someone has to back out, when two cars converge. All in all, we are grateful to our hosts for their hospitality.

What amazing views from the garden! We loved the location of this apartment. It is well equipped and clean. The owners are very helpful. We’d recommend it for up to 2 people- we were 3 (2 adults and a child) and found it to be a little cramped for the 3 days we were there.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vollkommen in Ordnung. Alles vor Ort was man braucht. Ideal für 2 Leute, mehr jedoch nicht. Das Bad ist äußerst klein. Man kann sich kaum um die eigene Achse drehen. Darüber hinaus lässt sich das Schlafzimmer nicht komplett abdunkeln. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, es hat alles gut geklappt.

Apartment ELA 2 habe ich nicht besuchen können, da diesen aus technischen Problemen leider nicht bewohnbar war. Der Gastgeber war aber sehr zuvorkommen und hat uns in die ELA 1 Wohnung einquartiert ohne extra Kosten für uns. Der Host war sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung war sauber, groß, komplett ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Der Aufenthalt im dem Apartment war zu unseren vollsten Zufriedenheit. Gerne wieder.

Great location, everything available. Nice hosts! For a family of four rather small. Eating outside is possible, only next to your car or in the nice garden. Though the garden is rather far from your kitchen and the only table is shared with all the other guests. The garden does give you beautiful views! In the region hiking, cycling etc. is fantastic!

Mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern haben wir eine Woche im Apartment ELA 2 verbracht. Es war zwar etwas beengt, da wir aber tagsüber stets unterwegs waren, hatten wir damit keine Probleme. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so fürs Leben braucht. Und wenn doch mal etwas fehlt, hilft die Gastgeberein, wo sie kann. Von unserer Seite aus: Daumen hoch!

We had a lovely time in Dovje. The weather was bad but Ela leant us an umbrella! The apartment was cosy and clean. We had everything we needed to cook but there was also a pizza place down the road. We arrived on a Sunday so it was a bit tricky to get there but we managed to get a reasonably priced taxi from Ljubliana airport. When the sun came out we had a relaxing walk to a waterfall along the river and there were busses to Bled and Ljubliana too. Thank you Ela!
We loved the apartment. It's a compact, clean with one bedroom plus a sofa that can be opened and used as a second bed. Convenient for families with a small child. Car can be parked in front of the apartment. Recommended.

Ela's apartment is a little jewel. It's tricky to find if you are not used to the Slovene way of organizing villages and is up a rather narrow, steep road. The hosts are incredibly helpful and kind and really go the extra mile. They will give you any local information you need. The space is small for a family of 4 but manageable.

Apartmán se nachází na konci malé obce a je vhodným místem pro výlety od Bledského jezera po italské Tarvisio. Může být i výchozím místem pro výstup na Triglav. Apartmán je relativně malý, ale disponuje vším potřebným, včetně dostatku úložných prostor. (Pro dva dospělé a dvě děti na týdenní dovolenou zcela dostačující). Z apartmánu není přímo výhled na Julské alpy, je potřeba obejít dům. Výhled na panoráma hor je fascinující. Ocenění ale zaslouží zejména vstřícný a přátelský přístup paní Ely a její rodiny.

Located at the end of a residential road in the village of Dovje, this well-furnished one-bedroom apartment has a mountain landscape directly behind. Dovje is just opposite the larger village of Mojstrana (nearest grocery store) below Mount Triglav and is a good base for exploring the popular resort of Kranjska Gora, scenic Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. The charming owners live seasonally in the adjoining building and were on hand to greet us upon arrival with a shot of local liqueur and a plate of freshly-baked homemade cookies. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, includes parking and Wi-Fi, with a small shower...the only downside were the very small towels in the bathroom.

The apartment is how described, not big but adequate for four people. The wifi is very good and fast, the heating works well. The host is always available if you have any questions and even came one evening to give us some drinks. The surrounding area is very beautiful, the nature is stunning and the nearby village offers everything you might need (restaurant, supermarket, Museum etc.) Over all I would recommend the apartment to people looking for a nice and cheap place to stay. Although small, Apartment Ela is in a wonderful situation, quiet but within easy travel of lots of interesting places. The owners are very friendly, and always willing to help.The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, and both Italy and Austria are just a short drive away. You really need a car for this area, but the roads are generally good, and traffic is very light. you can even visit the coastal area - Piran is wonderful.
We had a lovely stay at Apartment Ela, which is situated right at the top of Dovje village and has wonderful views from the garden terrace across to the Triglav range of mountains. The apartment was small but had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are lovely, bringing us freshly baked biscuits and cake on return from a busy day out. I would recommend this apartment for a couple - it would be a bit squashed with more, but we plan to return.

Hay unas vistas fantásticas desde la casa de las montañas, y el lugar transmite mucha paz. Ela y su marido nos estaban esperando para darnos la bienvenida y enseñarnos el apartamento. La comunicación desde el principio fue perfecta. También nos proporcionaron información sobre el Parque Nacional del Triglav y un día que llovía mucho nos obsequiaron con unos dulces deliciosos. El piso es pequeñito pero es muy coqueto, confortable, cálido y estaba impecablemente limpio. Nos sentimos muy agusto. Sin duda repetiríamos. Muchas gracias por todo Ela!

We werden warm verwelkomd door Dan en zijn vrouw, kregen een welkomstborrel en werden wegwijs gemaakt in het appartement. We kregen later veel info over de streek en diverse hapjes en drankjes. Erg vriendelijk, erg leuk. We hebben een leuke tijd gehad in eenprachtige omgeving. Het appartement is klein, maar nieuw en erg schoon. Alles is er. Bedankt!
