Chalet GoSlo is located in the heart of the charming and peaceful alpine village of Zaga, located 8km from Bovec and 14km from Kobarid The village offers a restaurant and a small convenience store, both in easy walking distance of the house. From the house it is also an easy walk to various walking trails and to the area's best known attraction - the Soca River. Zaga is one of the main starting points for kayaking / rafting down the Soca River and it sits at the confluence of the Ucja and the Soca rivers. The Ucja may be less well known than the Soca but is also stunningly beautiful - a steep, narrow valley which runs up to the Italian border (10 minutes drive up river) and with the so called Ucja Canyon just a few seconds walk from the house, offering swimmable water temperatures in Summer and which is also home to the bigest zipline park in Europe with 4km of lines running upto 200m above the valley. Another must-see is the magnificent Boka Waterfall just a kilometre towards Bovec from the house.
Generally the Bovec area offers stunning river and mountain scenery and a huge array adventure sports. The amazing emerald Soca River gives numerous opportunities for white water rafting, kayaking, fishing and other river sports. For mountain walkers and bikers there are endless opportunities for all levels; from gentle mountain paths to more challenging hikes up the peaks of Julian Alps. Kanin ski resort offers further summer and winter opportunities and some of Slovenia’s most spectacular mountain scenery and is connected to Sella Nevea, on the Italian side of the border giving an opportunity for skiing in two countries in one day! The charming historical towns of Kobarid and Most na Soci are both within a half hour’s drive and well worth a visit as well as the Tolmin Gorge, and the stunning Vršic and Trenta Valley. Just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.

Chalet GoSlo offers comfortable, quality, holiday rental accommodation for groups of up to 7. The guest accommodation is located on the first and loft floors (the basement level is used as a storage area for the owners) with a staircase leading up from street level to the entrance and a lovely outdoor seating area shaded by vines in Summer months. As an "upside down house” , the main entrance leads you first to the chalet's the three bedrooms and to bathrooms. One bathroom with shower is shared by the first double bedroom and the twin room with single bed and bunk beds for 2. The second double bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. Stairs lead up from here to the open plan loft level with a delightful spacious open kitchen / living / room / dining room, perfect for socialising with friends and family after a hard day on the river. The house offers plenty of holiday comforts for guests with wifi, TV, various games and books, plus washing machine and well equipped kitchen with Hob, oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle & dishwasher.
