Located in the quiet residential Mala Vas (or "Little Village") area of Bovec, Mala Vas Chalet offers a great blend of peace, quiet and great views with easy access by foot to all the amenities of central Bovec (bars / restaurants / shops / adventure - activity providers etc) and a few minutes’ from the stunning Soca River, considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia. The Soca River offers the opportunity for fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, or just relaxing on the banks.
The surrounding mountains are in general fantastic for walking; they also offer scope for great mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding as well as skiing. The ski resort Kanin on the Italian border is one of Slovenia’s best with good lift infrastructure and snow record. A second ski area Sella Nevea (Italy) adjoins Kanin and offers good beginner - intermediate level skiing; the one ski pass covers both sides of the mountain. It is a 10 minute drive from the house to the Gondola, which is also open in the Summer giving easy access to breathtaking high altitude walking and mountain biking. There is a wonderful lake just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.

Mala Vas Chalet offers a comfortable spacious 6 bedroom apartment for up to 12 people (also offering options for smaller groups of up to 9). Entry to the 6 bedroom apartment is up stairs to a raised ground floor which comprises and very spacious living room - diner which comfortably accommodates 12 people and semi open plan kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, 5 ring gas stove and extractor, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster & large fridge freezer. There is also a pantry and separate WC on this level as well as access onto a lovely large double aspect balcony with great views of the Julian Alps and providing balcony furniture for relaxing in the sun. On the level above there are 4 bedrooms: all with ensuite shower rooms. Two bedrooms are twin, one is double and the last is triple, with 3 single beds. There is balcony access from the triple room with great mountain views. On the loft floor above (which can be excluded from the rental for smaller groups) there is spacious ensuite twin room and a small single room - both under the eaves. Most bedrooms have mountain views. Apartments has Wifi and internet TV.
Mala Vas Chalet occupies most of the building but there are a couple of other apartments in the building which each have separate entrances.
