Svinjak mountain which locals also call Slovenian Matterhorn seems to be within reach of your hand as you soak up the panoramic mountain views from the wooden terrace. It is 350m walk to the very centre of Bovec so all shops, bars , restaurants and other amenities are in easy walking distance.
Bovec itself not only offers stunning scenery but is a mecca for adventure sports. The amazing emerald Soca River is just out of the town and there are numerous opportunities for white water rafting, kayaking, fishing and other river sports. For mountain walkers and bikers there are endless opportunities for all levels; from gentle mountain paths to more challenging hikes up the peaks of Julian Alps. Kanin ski resort offers further summer and winter opportunities and some of Slovenia’s most spectacular mountain scenery and is connected to Sella Nevea, on the Italian side of the border giving an opportunity for skiing in two countries in one day! For day trips the charming historical towns of Kobarid and Most na Soci are well worth a visit as well as the Tolmin Gorge, and the stunning Vršic and Trenta Valley. There is also a wonderful lake just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.

Jelenko House, Bovec is a bright and comfortable 4 bedroom holiday home, recently renovated and equipped to a high standard with contemporary fittings and furnishings. On the main floor there is a large bathroom, convenient kitchen and a large living area with fireplace. The living room is very bright and it leads onto the spacious wooden terrace with beautiful views. A large and stylish staircase leads you to the top floor where there are two spacious double bedrooms. On this floor here is a bathroom which has a bath with shower and shower screen and a spacious landing. On the ground floor/basement there are two further bedrooms; one double and the other one with bunk beds and two twin beds and a convenient corner with wash basin. Please note there is limited natural light in the basement bedrooms. The house offers comfortable , well equipped kitchen, internet and flatscreen cable TV. As well as the panoramic wooden terrace there is also a small garden and parking area.
