Most local facilities are located in the pretty town of Cerklje 10 minutes drive from the chalet on the valley floor. Facilities include supermarket, bakery, butcher, petrol station, bank, pharmacy and a variety of excellent pizzerias and restaurants. There is also a good local restaurant with fantastic views within 5 minutes drive further up the mountain and further options at the resort of Krvavec itself at the top of the mountain.
