Kmetija Želinc - Tourist Farm, Cerkno, Slovenia


Located in an attractive position a few kilometres from the small town of Cerkno on the confluence of the lovely Idrijca & Cerknica Rivers, the Zelinc Tourist Farm is an excellent family run small family hotel with swimming pool, lovely garden, small wellness centre, excellent food and wine and a friendly welcome for an extremely attractive price.



The Želinc Tourist farm is located in a peaceful and scenic spot on the confluence of the Idrijca and Cerknica Rivers a few kilometres from the small town of Cerkno and in an area of beautiful sub alpine hills and forests. The area is a paradise for fly fishing and the owners will be able to assist with obtaining licenses and pointing out the best places to go. Cerkno. 10km from Cerkno is a small but well run family ski area of the same name. From the Želinc it is very easy to explore the Soča Valley region (it is 20 minutes by car to Most na Soči) and also the Idrija / Cerkno regions. there is excellent walking and biking in the area. Sights The Idrijca and Cerknica Rivers are in very close proximity and it is an easy drive to a wide range of things to see and do including the Soča Valley, Idrijca & cerkno ski resort

Bars There is hotel bar on site and a wine cellar which the owners will let you explore if you ask them vey nicely!

Local bus connections run close to the hotel to Cerkno and onto Ljubljana and elsewhere in Slovenia, but are relatively infrequent.
