High quality, smartly decorated, spacious studio apartment sleeping 2 in the attractive Villa Golf apartment building, Rogaška Slatina. The building is set in beautiful parkland in a quiet location on the edge of a forest, yet only a couple of steps from the main square and all spa facilities of Rogaška Slatina, one of Slovenia's longest established and attractive spa towns. The town is famous for its therapeutic mineral rich thermal waters, dating back to Roman times and made famous as a tourist attraction during the Hapsburg era and now offering a extensive range of spa activities and treatments. Apartment facilities include cable TV, internet & air-con. Other attractions in proximity include golf, horse riding and fantastic walking and cycling in the beautiful countryside in the region. A wonderful location for a relaxing spa break.

LOCATION

Located a few metres from the town's extensive spa facilities and in easy walking distance to the centre of town and its various amenities (including a choice of restaurants / bars and stores) the apartment is ideally located to take advantage of all that Rogaška Slatina has to offer. Whilst centrally located it is a relaxing location, surrounding by attractive parkland on one side and forest on the other. The spa facilities and therapeutic mineral rich thermal waters are the main draw for most people - there are a huge range of available bathing options, massages and other therapies available all within a few minutes walk of the apartment and often available in beautiful 19th century historic spa buildings. massage treatments can be organized on site. The town is surrounded by thick forests and rolling hills criss-crossed with walking and cycling trails so there are plenty of opportunities for active days out exploring the natural beauty of the area. Horseriding can be done within 7km of the apartment and 15km is the excellent "A" golf

course at Olimje.  There is wine growing in the region so there is scope also for wine tasting and wine tourism at a number of charming wineries and tourist farms in the area. Finally, Rogaška Slatina is also known for its fantastic crystal glass heritage stretching back 350 years. The factory in Rogaška been producing top quality crystal sold around the world for the best part of 100 years and tours can be arranged on request.
