Pristava Lepena - Beautiful Soca Valley Chalets

INTRODUCTION

In the jaw droppingly beautiful Lepena valley 15 minutes drive from Bovec is one of the most unpretentious and enjoyable hotels in Slovenia - Pristava Lepena. Stay in rustic alpine self contained chalets, soak up the pristine mountain scenery, swim in the pool, go horse riding or walking up to Krn lake, eat in the excellent restaurant, relax in the wellness centre....but do not attempt to leave without a smile on your face!

LOCATION

Fifteen minutes by car from Bovec following the Soca River towards its source up the road to the Vrsic Pass you enter the Triglav National Park and then come to the wonderful hidden valley of Lepena - a pristine alpine environment where time seems to have stood still for centuries surrounded by towering peaks and untouched forest. In the heart of the valley is Pristava Lepena - which is wonderfully self contained in its own little world, yet at the same time just a short drive to Bovec and the various attractions of the main part of the Soca Valley. There is a wonderful lake just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.  The area offers almost unlimited scope for river and mountain activities in both Summer and Winter all in untouched mountain surroundings. THE ACCOMMODATION

Pristava Lepena offers a fantastic combination of the independence and privacy of self contained chalets with the comfort and convenience of the outstanding hotel facilities on hand (tennis, small swimming pool, horseriding, restaurant, wellness-sauna, coffee bar, occasional cellar bar) not to mention a personal service and warm welcome that you can only expect from a family run establishment. All of the accommodation is rustic and alpine (think lots of local wood and stone) built in the charming local architectural style, meaning that - like everything at Pristava Lepena - the buildings all feel very rooted to the local area. Please scroll down for a description of the accommodation followed by site plan and floor plans of the rooms.
