Walking distance to local facilities and just a few minutes by car to Bovec. The apartment is on the first floor and loft and features an entry room, bathroom, open plan living room, kitchen & dining room with access onto a balcony with comfortable seating. Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms under the eaves with great views of surrounding mountains. Plenty of outdoor activities such as walking and cycling possible from your doorstep as well as a wide range of river pursuits (Kayak / rafting centre in the village) and mountain sports in the area (skiing at Kanin just five minutes drive). Facilities in the apartment include large flatscreen TV & DVD player.

 

 

Lepa Soca is a lovely Bovec apartment situated in a small building in a quiet area of Cezsoca village, a charming alpine village on the banks of one of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. There is a huge range of outdoor activities in the area from hiking and mountain biking, which are possible from your doorstep, river pursuits such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning & fly fishing (there is an excellent kayak centre in the village) and mountain sports including paragliding and skiing at the resort of Kanin which is just five minutes drive from the house and has recently been connected to Sella Nevea in Italy to create an excellent cross-border resort. It is walking distance to local facilities (excellent restaurant and local shop) and just a few minutes by car into Bovec where there are a wide range of shops, some fantastic restaurants and various other amenities, not to mention a pretty main square, lovely buildings and a great atmosphere (Bovec is a magnet for adventure sports enthusiasts which gives the place a vibrant, active, outdoors feel). The area focuses around the “Emerald” Soča river which is a remarkably beautiful and unspoilt river valley with its source in the heart of the Triglav National Park (a pristine alpine wilderness with its border just outside Bovec) and running down to the Italian Adriatic. Kobarid is the other main town of interest in the area, half an hour’s drive down the valley from Bovec, a small but beautiful town boasting some of Slovenia’s finest restaurants and a fantastic museum recording the role of the area in the 1st World War (it was one of the major fronts and the history of the area can also be explored by a number of trails taking in the historic sites along the valley). Further down the valley is the spectacular Tolminska Korita (Tolmin gorge) and a pretty lake at Most na Soči.
