Kod Kriza - Brac Villa

INTRODUCTION

OK it may not be in Slovenia but we couldn't resist adding the wonderful villa Kod Križa on the island of Brač in the heart of the Croatian region of Dalmatia. The villa lies in a stunning and secluded spot at the edge of a charming old village in the hills of the lovely island of Brač with breathtaking views of the island, the Brač channel and the mountainous mainland beyond. It is 10 minutes drive to Pucisca, a beautiful unspoilt town with beaches and plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. In the other direction, it is 20 minutes to Bol and the attractions of the largest, but still understated, resort on the island. The villa features two stone houses offering in total 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms. The houses surround a wonderful garden, outdoor kitchen and pool overlooking the wonderful views.

Kod Križa lies in a stunning and secluded spot at the edge of the charming old village of Pražnica in the hills of the beautiful island of Brac. The village has a shop and a bar / pizzeria and there is an excellent restaurant a little way out of the village. It has easy access to the North and South coasts of the island, with a 10 minute drive to Pucisca, a beautiful unspoilt town with beaches and plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. In the other direction, it is 20 minutes to Bol and the attractions of the island's largest, but still understated resort. Brac itself is one of Croatia's most attractive islands with lots of ancient stone hill villages, charming seaside towns and resorts and lovely rugged stone coastline dotted with some excellent beaches, the most iconic of which is also Croatia's most famous beach - the Zlatni Rat (golden horn) outside Bol, 20 minutes from the house. The island is accessible in just an hour by ferry from Split with ferries every hour or so during the season. From Bol there are lovely day trips possible to the neighbouring island of Hvar. There are no immediate neighbours around the house making it a very secluded position surounded by unspoilt nature. Behind the house is a path which winds its way up to a magnificent viewpoint with views stretching from one end of the Dalmatian coast to the other.
