Hotel Mangart Bovec

INTRODUCTION

The recently built Hotel Mangart brings modern style and all the trappings of a big city hotel to the tranquil town of Bovec in the Soča Valley. The hotel is located 500m from the centre of town and is just a few minutes’ drive to the ski gondola for Bovec Kanin. Rooms are comfortable and bright with balconies looking out at the magnificent Julian Alps and Soča valley. The hotel has excellent facilities including a wellness centre, a children’s play ground and an outdoor pool with lounge area.

LOCATION

Hotel Mangart is located just on the edge of the small resort town of Bovec, a few minutes walk to the centre of the town and the various shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities that it offers. It is a charming little town and has seen significant investment in recent years on an improved town square. Being positioned at the edge of town the hotel offers great views of the surrounding valley and mountains. It is a few minutes by car from ski lifts to Kanin, recently connected to the Italian resort of Sella Nevea across the border. The Bovec area offers almost unlimited scope for river and mountain activities in both Summer and Winter all in pristine mountain surroundings. There is a wonderful lake just 20 minutes from Bovec over the Predel pass into Italy – called Raibl Lake; it is a stunningly beautiful and wild lake between the Kanin and Montaz massifs in the "forgotten" valley which runs from Tarvisio to Sella Nevea.  Click here for more area info.
