Blegos Chalet Slovenia:


Blegos Chalet Slovenia is a wonderful house with separate studio "barn" apartment sleeping up to 12 in total, with lovely garden and fabulous views over the foothills of the Julian Alps. Located in a magnificent position in the small village of Dolenje Brdo overlooking the Poljane valley 20mins east of the beautiful medieval town of Skofja Loka not far from skiing at Cerkno and Stari Vrh and just 40 mins from Ljubljana airport. The area offers a huge range of walking, cycling and Summer sports from the doorstep of the house. The chalet offers an excellent standard of accommodation with internet, flatscreen TV & BBQ among its many facilities. Nearest local amenities are a just short drive from the chalet on the valley floor.

Blegos Chalet Slovenia is located in a magnificent position overlooking the Poljane valley and the foothills of the Julian Alps 20 mins east of the beautiful medieval town of Skofja Loka and offering magnificent stress relieving views of the foothills of the Julian Alps! The nearest facilities (shops / bars / restaurants) are in a small town 10 minutes drive from the chalet in Gorenja Vas. Cerkno town is circa 15 kilometres away offers a variety of shops bars, restaurants and other facilities including swimming pool and skiing at Cerkno resort, a few kilometres out of the town, offering Slovenia's most modern lift infrastructure and great beginner - intermediate skiing. In the other direction (20 mins drive) is the beautiful historic medieval town of Skofja Loka with its imposing castle and winding old streets and beautiful architecture. Between the house and Skofja Loka is the Stari Vrh ski resort which offers the longest night skiiing piste in Slovenia and decent beginner - intermediate skiing with lovely views of the Julian Alps and Karavanke mountains. Further skiing at Krvavec & Soriska Planina are circa 45 mins drive away. There is a wide range of other ski areas in Slovenia / Italy / Austria within day trip distance from the property. There is a huge range of Summer outdoor activities possible in this beautiful subalpine area - from fly fishing to mountain biking, hiking to kayaking including fantastic one day hikes to the peak of Blegos mountain, from where the Chalet takes its name. There are excellent day trip possibilities to Slovenia's pretty capital Ljubljana (45 minutes drive) and world famous Lake Bled (45 minutes drive).

Wonderful chalet sleeping up to 12 people with fabulous views over the foothills of the Slovenian Julian Alps from terrace, garden and many of the rooms. Blegos Chalet offers high quality accommodation with bathroom, large kitchen-dining room, small double bedroom & living room with sofabed on the ground floor. The kitchen has access onto a beautiful terrace with outdoor table & barbecue area & lovely garden overlooking the views. On the 1st floor is the main living room with single sofabed, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom & 2 single bedrooms. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player, satellite TV & internet. "The Barn" studio apartment rests on the upper level of the adjoining building and provides sleeping space for 3 with a double sofa bed and single fold out bed. Here you will also find a small kitchen-dining area, bathroom and balcony.

Living Room
There is a lovely cosy living room on the ground floor with comfortable seating for 4 and traditional farmhouse wood burning stove. On the first floor is the main living room which is a lovely big room with comfortable seating for 6, study area and card table. There is a also a traditional ceramic wood buring stove. In "the barn" there is a small living area.
Dining Area

The dining area is in the kitchen and offers seating for up to 8 people comfortably. A small dining space is provided in "the barn" studio apartment. There is also an outdoor dining area seating 6 on the main terrace.

Garden / outside space
Lovely terrace with marble table, chairs, BBQ and outdoor sink. There is also a lawned area in front of the house. All look over the fabulous views of the foothills of the Julian Alps.

Prices for Blegos Chalet Slovenia, are from 100 EUR / night - 130 EUR / night dependent on the season.
Prices are based on a minimum stay of 3 / 5 / 7 nights dependent on the season, with shorter stays considered on request and possibly subject to a supplement.


Chalet Blegos

  • Prices based on 9 people in the main house. The barn can be booked for an additional 3 people (one double sofabed, 1 single extra bed). For groups of 10-12 the barn option must be selected when placing your booking.


Base prices:

  • Low season 100 EUR/night (24/09/16-16/12/16, 01/04/17-05/05/17, 23/09/17-15/12/17)
  • Mid season: 115 EUR/night (07/05/16-08/07/16, 20/08/16-23/09/16, 07/01/17-31/03/17, 23/09/17-15/12/17)
  • High season 130 EUR/night (09/07/16-19/08/16, 17/12/16-06/01/17, 08/07/17-18/08/17, 16/12/17-05/01/18)


  • Last minute discount: Permanent 15% discount off whole booking if booked within 1 week of arrival for bookings in all seasons
  • Multiple week discount: 5% discount on stays of 10 nights or more in all seasons.
  • Low Occupancy discount: Permanent 10% discount on stays of 3 nights or more outside peak season for groups comprising 33% or less of the total capacity of the property (THIS APPLIES FOR GROUPS OF 1-3 PEOPLE )
