INTRODUCTION

Ana Piran Apartment is a newly renovated three bedroom air-conditioned property located in a period Piran townhouse the heart of Piran's charming Venetian old town, just metres from the stunning Tartini Square on the waterfront and a short walk to nearest beaches. Apartment Ana offers spacious, high quality accommodation over three floors: the ground floor has a 2 double bedrooms and bathroom. The first floor has an open plan kitchen / dining area. The top floor has a toilet and double bedroom that opens onto a large terrace with retractable awning, outdoor table, chairs, BBQ and sun loungers. This level overlooks Tartini Square - the beating heart of the town. Piran itself is atmospheric and beautiful packed with historic buildings, squares, great places to eat and drink & number of beach areas / swimming points to enjoy the warm Adriatic waters. A few kms from Piran are the bustling family resorts of Portoroz & Izola which offer a wide range of tourist facilities. Inland lies picturesque wine growing country, characteristic stone hill top villages & attractions such as world famous caves at Postojna, golf & the historic Lippizaner stud at Lipica. Slovenia's charming capital Ljubljana is an easy day trip as are trips into Italy & Croatia.

LOCATION

Apartment Ana is located in the heart of Piran's charming Venetian old town overlooking beautiful Tartini Square and just metres from the historical Cloister of the Franciscan Monastery; said to have the best acoustics of any building in Slovenia. From the apartment it is a short walk to Tartini Square, to a variety of great restaurants and any of the various beaches / swimming points in and around the town. Piran is undoubtedly one of Slovenia's premier attractions & its most beautiful coastal town - a medieval Venetian town on a peninsula jutting out into the Adriatic, packed with historic buildings, charming squares, great places to eat and drink & a wide range of spots to enjoy the warm Adriatic waters including a lovely long pebbly beach accessible from under St George's cathedral. A few kms from Piran are the bustling family resorts of Portoroz & the charming seaside town of Izola which offer a wide range of things to do and see and ample tourist facilities for all kinds of visitors. Inland lies picturesque wine growing country (mainly growing a delicious red grape variety unique to Slovenia - Refosk), some wonderful old stone hill top villages often with great local restaurants and wineries & a little further afield attractions such as the Sečovlje salt plans, the world famous caves at Postojna & Skocjanske Jame (20 / 40 mins drive respectively), golf & the historic Lippizaner stud at Lipica (cca 30 mins drive). Slovenia's charming capital Ljubljana is just 90 minutes drive and day trips into Trieste & Venice in Italy or Croatia's beautiful Istrian coast are easily possible and highly recommended. A fantastic place to be based for a family or romantic break in the heart of the Slovenian Adriatic's most appealing destination.

LAYOUT - FACILITIES - FLOOR PLANS
Apartment Ana offers an excellent standard of accommodation for up to eight people (three bedrooms, one double sofabed in the living room): spacious, bright and newly renovated, located in a traditional Piran townhouse. The apartment features an entry hall, bathroom, two double bedrooms on the ground floor. An open plan living room, bespoke kitchen and dining area on the first floor. On the top floor there is a toilet, large double bedroom with access onto a large terrace with retractable awning. There are commanding views of Tartini Square and the Adriatic Sea from the bedroom and terrace. A table with chairs and sunloungers complete the terrace. Each level of the apartment has its own airconditioner. There is a small fireplace in the living room area. PLEASE NOTE: Steep staircase up to the apartment and unprotected "floating staircase" to the top level may not be suitable for young children.

No parking in Piran centre - guests can come into the town with a car to drop off bags etc, but thereafter must park cars in one of the municipal car parks on the edge of town. Main car park costs 1.2 EUR / hr, 12 EUR / 24 hrs, 11 EUR / 24 hrs for 3 days or more or cca 10 EUR / 24hrs for a week or more.
